Retake Camera Co. 90-Day Limited Warranty

This Limited Warranty is provided by Retake Camera Co. ("Retake", "we", "us"). It is not provided by Canon Inc. or Canon U.S.A., Inc. Retake is an independent seller of used cameras and is not affiliated with, authorized, sponsored or endorsed by Canon. Canon, PowerShot and ELPH are trademarks of their respective owners. Any warranty Canon may have offered on a camera when it was new does not apply to cameras sold by Retake.

Who is covered

This warranty covers the original purchaser of a camera bought from Retake Camera Co. through our online store and shipped to an address in the United States. It cannot be transferred.

What is covered

For 90 days from the date your order is delivered, we warrant that the camera will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. Examples of covered faults include a lens error or a lens that will not extend or retract, a screen that stops displaying, buttons that stop responding, and a camera that will not power on with a charged battery. The battery and charger included in the kit are covered for the same 90 days.

What we will do

If a covered fault appears during the warranty period, we will, at our option, repair the camera, replace it with a camera of the same model and the same or better grade, or refund the price you paid for it. We pay shipping both ways for warranty claims. A repaired or replacement camera is covered for the rest of the original 90 days or 30 days from when we ship it back to you, whichever is longer.

What is not covered

• Damage from drops, impact, liquid, sand, extreme heat or cold, or other accidents
• Damage from misuse, neglect, or use with incompatible batteries, chargers or accessories
• Cameras that have been opened, repaired or modified by anyone other than Retake
• Normal wear, including new scratches or marks on the body after delivery
• The memory card, strap and case
• Loss or theft
• Loss of photos, videos or other data. Please keep copies of anything important.

How to make a claim

1. Email support@retakecamera.com with your order number and a short description of the problem. A photo or short video helps.
2. We reply within one business day. If the problem looks covered, we send you a prepaid shipping label and packing instructions.
3. When the camera arrives, we inspect it and repair, replace or refund within 5 business days.

Limits

To the extent allowed by law, any implied warranties, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the 90-day period of this Limited Warranty. Some states do not allow limits on how long an implied warranty lasts, so this limit may not apply to you. To the extent allowed by law, Retake Camera Co. is not liable for incidental or consequential damages, including loss of data or loss of use. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this limit or exclusion may not apply to you.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state. This warranty is governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey.
